#Top5Tuesday For Week 3

  1. Florida A&M (2-1)- The Rattlers are coming off of a 56-9 meeting behind the woodshed against Miami. The Rattlers played tough in the 1st half going to the half 25-6 before Miami exploded in the 3rd quarter and put the game away.

  2. Jackson State (1-1) -The Tigers did the opposite of what FAMU did in week 2. They stroked a check to D2 Lane College for a meeting behind the woodshed. The Tigers rolled 58-7 over the Dragons and was up 48-0 before the Sonic Boom was able to perform their first home half time show.

  3. Howard (1-1) - The Bison did everything in their power to give the game to Mercyhurst. With 41 seconds remaining the Bison trailed by 4 points. Kenny Gallop would run back a blocked PAT for 2 points and then the Bison offense would drive into field goal range and set up a game winning Dylan West 37-yarder as time expires.

  4. North Carolina Central (1-1)- The Eagles have fallen out of the top spot after being routed by Elon. The Eagles gave up almost 200 yards on the ground in a disappointing loss to Elon. At one point Elon was up 24-0 before Central was able to get on the board. The Eagles did fight back but didn't have enough to overcome the slow start and loss 41-19

  5. Morgan State (1-1) - The Bears continue to prove that defense travels. Their defensive only surrendered 14-points and held Towson scoreless in the 2nd half. The problem with Morgan State continues to be their offense. The Bears were limited to 249 total yards and 9 points.
